recs: Michael!fic

ariadnes_stringIt looks like S5 has already spawned its first fanfic subgenre: Michael!fic.
It’s kind of an irresistible premise: We all know an archangel is out to get (have?) Dean; Dean won’t allow himself to be used as a vessel. Or will he?
I think there are a lot of these out there, but two I really liked are behind the cut.

dsudis (PG-13, spoilers through 5.01): There are a lot of characters in this, but only two bodies. A really interesting exploration of how Michael might (or might not) approach Dean.
Smitten byfleshflutter (pg, spoilers through 5.01). Two bodies, three beings. Crack and angst in equal measure. (for whatever reason, I can’t really read wincest these days, but this worked for me—it’s very mild, and it’s not exactly Sam/Dean, though it kind of is).
