Something for the weekend? (Recs)

Just to show that a good episode can be just as aggravating as a lousy one (if not more so), SPN 5.10 seems to have, justifiably, irked people for a number of reasons. Here are a couple of things to make it better.

Also, chiiyo86 posted the first story in the hoodie_time (AKA sickdean) fic challenge, which just happens to be for one my prompts. It was kind of a cracky prompt, but she turned it into a lovely, substantial story, with pitch-perfect brotherly bickering and poignant S5 angst.
