The fairy tale is called "Linda-Gold and the Old King," and it's about a king who -- I am not making this up -- won't let anyone touch him. He's very sad and lonely. Then he meets a little girl in the forest and saves her from a wolf. She cheerfully gets in his personal space as little kids do, and the king finds himself transformed by her.

I actually stared at the book in disbelief for several minutes!
