Title: The Silver-Tongued Conman Loses His Voice.
Rating: PG-13, gen, no pairings.
Word count: ~11.5K (in two parts)
Spoilers: No specific spoilers for the show, but probably set sometime at the end of S1.
Warnings: This fic is gen, but there is discussion of human trafficking and the sexual coercion of minors, and also some crude sexual language.
Disclaimer: Not mine, no profit.

a/n: This is a very, very late fic for the wonderful [livejournal.com profile] rabidchild67 who first made a generous bid for my fic in the [livejournal.com profile] help_japan auction, then waited months for said fic, and then read the first half of this one and gave me the key to finally finishing it. I wish this were better, bb, because you only deserve the best!
a/n: I had so much help with this one! [livejournal.com profile] harrigan and [livejournal.com profile] taste_is_sweet were kind enough to read the first half and offer extremely helpful advice. [livejournal.com profile] rabidchild67 also read the first half and set me on the path to finishing it. And then [livejournal.com profile] harrigan did a superfast and helpful final beta on it. Thank you all! And all remaining problems completely my own fault!
a/n: My rendition of Hmong here is my guess as to how Neal would hear it and bears no relation to the actual language.

Summary: Sometimes you have to leave the comfort for the hurt.

Just re-posting this as bidding closes in a few days. There is so much wonderful stuff on offer--go over and check it out!

I am offering: 1 fanfic of at least 1,000 words

Lately, I've mostly been writing in the following fandoms: Hawaii Five-O, Sherlock BBC (and RPF), Sherlock Holmes (09), Southland, White Collar, The Eagle (book or movie verse). However, I'm also happy to write in any other the other fandoms that show up on my masterlist. (fic masterlist or on AO3)

Happy to write gen, slash or het (any rating), and pretty much any kink, as long as it's consensual, but I can't do Wincest, mpreg, non-con or torture. I love writing h/c and I love writing crossovers. Also happy to write continuations or timestamps for existing fics.

Starting Bid (in USD): $5

My thread is here

Again, thoughts and prayers to everyone who's been affected by this ongoing crisis and tragedy.

I truly have no words for what is going on in Japan right now. But on the assumption that every little bit helps, I put up an offer of fic at the auction:

Oh, man, the disasters in the world this week....

I'm offering one 1,000+ word fic to the highest bidder at [livejournal.com profile] helpbrazil2011. My thread is here

And, since I don't think I can write two auction fics, I want to bid on some the Queensland benefit auction--so let me know if you have a thread going over there.

Title: In the Belfry, 1/2
Rating: PG, gen.
Fandom: BBC!Sherlock
Word count: ~3K
Disclaimer: Not mine, no profit.
Warning: not really about a belfry.

a/n: this is the first part of my extremely tardy [livejournal.com profile] help_pakistan fic for the wonderful, patient [livejournal.com profile] innie_darling, who wanted more Lestrade-Sherlock-John interaction. I’m posting the first half of it now, short as it is, so that she can have something (hopefully) fun to read on her birthday—the rest will be up in a few days. HAPPY BIRTHDAY bb!!

a/n: I have been such a snail about this that another fic with a similar plot was posted recently (In the Batcave). Word of honor, though, that I was already well into the premise of this one when that appeared….

a/n: many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] calamitycrow, [livejournal.com profile] fleurione and [livejournal.com profile] marysutherland for the ultra-fast beta’ing and brit-picking. All remaining idiom-fail and infelicities my own.

Summary: Lestrade is hurt. Sherlock is phobic. And John has his hands full.

Back in town and late to the party, but I'm offering fic at the [livejournal.com profile] help_pakistan auction: here (SPN, Sherlock, Holmes/Watson, White Collar, etc.).

a/n: Boscastle is a real place, of course, but I’ve played very fast and loose with local geography—no offense meant to anybody who knows the area well.
a/n: set after the movie ‘verse. I apologize in advance for any injuries to book canon.
a/n: thanks, as always, to [personal profile] calamitycrow for the last-minute beta and the hand-holding!

a/n: written for the lovely and generous [livejournal.com profile] gabsy as part of the [livejournal.com profile] help_haiti auction fundraiser, who was also kind enough to wait a bit for the next two parts (they should be up by the end of the week). I hope you enjoy it, bb!

It looks like Haiti will need all the help the rest of the world can offer.

So, I've never done this before, but I've put an offer to write fic up for auction at [livejournal.com profile] help_haiti here (sorry for the terrible link--I'm down towards the bottom of the fourth page of comments).

I'm offering 1-3K (maybe more) of SPN (gen, or Dean/Castiel), Merlin (gen) or Sherlock Holmes 09 (slash or gen)--tailored to your prompt (or not).

And, I forgot to say so on the post, but I'd also be happy to write J2 (up to an R rating) or a meta on an SPN or fanfiction issue of your choice.

OR, if there's anyone you feel really needs to meet the Winchesters, via a xover fic, let me know!

Look around at the site, though, there are a gazillion wonderful authors offering their services.

You have 'til Jan 20 to bid/offer stuff.
